Zero Waste Bike Tour

Last year I saved up over $ 3,000 to make a down payment on my first car, instead of succumbing to our consumer culture of debt slavery and oil dependence, I quit my job and crocheted my bicycle. 🙂

Traveling zero waste and producing zero emissions on my crocheted 70’s Schwinn bicycle I rode 1,1192 miles up the west coast from San Luis Obispo,CA to Portland,OR from Februrary 2- March 22 2016. I took my time interviewing activists, trash artists, landfill workers, repair people, etc during my tour and am currently working on a video project to share with you all!
